We asked a couple of people what they associate with the color RED. They came up with words like Passion, Desire, Excitement, Power, Dominance, Energy, Sexy, Bold, and Love. We believe that this is not just a product of science behind the color RED, but also a by-product of the significance of the color throughout history. Seems fishy, doesn’t it?

Throughout history in rituals, the Ancient Egyptians and Mayans painted their faces crimson, while Roman generals painted their bodies red to celebrate triumphs. It was also a popular hue in China, where it was used to decorate early ceramics and, subsequently, royal gates and walls. The beautiful crimson clothes worn by the nobles and rich during the Renaissance were dyed with kermes and cochineal. But how is this relevant in modern terms?
