MAKE-UP HACKS

What if you find yourself in the middle of a spontaneous, out of blue, plan for a party in the evening and you have just as much time as to go home for a quick change and not left with much to go in for serious  make-up  ?! Don’t panic. Try these!

Smoothen your skin :

Use flannel to clear out your skin of any dryness or patchy spots. If you can get the flannel a bit warm, even better. Cleansing is the need. Voila! your skin is smooth and clean.

Best Moisturizer Cream for Face

Go all out with your Moisturizer :

You would naturally have a  moisturizer  at home that best suits your skin. Target the dry patches on your skin, if any, and make sure you apply the  moisturizer  in a way that it penetrates your skin. Let your, moisturizer-applied, skin rest for a while. You will notice your skin has a very different and beautiful texture once the moisturizer has been absorbed by it.

Go light on your concealer :

Use only as much concealer as to even out your face. Use it to just subtly hide maybe, the all day worked-out tired eyes or any redness or marks that may be prominent at that moment. You can use your finger or a small brush and use them to blend the concealer into the skin leaving no edges or visible borders. Always look into the mirror from different distances, and proper lighting, to check if it is seamless.

The humble tissue:

Use your tissue to just press it over the concealer application so as to remove any excess oils or extra application of the concealer. As insignificant as the tissue may appear to be, the humble tissue works great with concealing the  concealer . Look into the mirror from at a distance and if you still see any patches or anything that needs to not show there, repeat the concealer and tissue steps prudently.

Amplify your contours:

If you have a liquid highlight handy, use it to accentuate your features and facial contours. If you don’t have it on hand, replace it with Vaseline or a lip balm with a modest or nude shimmery eye shadow color. The high cheekbones, the bridge along with your nose, and areas around your brows could be the ones you would want to focus on. Know what, out of your face you would want the light to catch, and go about applying it, accordingly.

Add some color:

A quick touch of a little colour from your, not so bold, red lipstick can substitute for blush if you don’t have the time to go through all the steps. Use your finger and strategically add some color over your cheeks and eyes and get some not so evident color onto your beautiful face. Complete all this up with a little Mascara and a smack of lipstick and you are done. Now look into the mirror for a final time, neat out your locks, wear your heels and you can be on the way to your party!
